Together with Rodja Trappe, Kristian Hildebrand, Jussi Ängeslevä, Eva Offenberg and Matt Karau we quickly (just 3 days) built The Donations Generator. As the name says, to generate donations for Pratham. There is a box with a slot to donate all your coins. An Arduino Diecimila reads over some sensors, which coin was put in. After inserting the coin, it is translated into light pixels filling the map of India with letters and numbers – in this way expressing what Pratham does in real life. The application was running on a sponsored interactive table by ART+COM.
