Holi Hé

A reactive floor projection refering to the trace of colours people leave behind during Holi – the Indian Festival of Colours – in Mumbai, India.

A temporary installation as homage to Holi – the indian Festival of Colours. A festival in which the participants chase and colour each other with colourful dry powder and coloured water. The frolic and fight with colours occurs in the streets and spreads over the whole city. Holi Hé is a reactive floor projection that refers to the trace of colours people leave behind during this event. The set-up took place in Dharavi (Mumbai, India).

Helping hands: Craig Protzel (NYUAD) and Rahul Srivastava (URBZ).
